Three Hares Magic Company
In an attempt to draw inspiration from my favorite era of design, Victorian, I created this magic kit packaging system. This project, primarily an exploration into packaging design, was incredibly self indulgent. I utilized dense patterns and illustrations to try and re-create this eclectic type of design for a modern audience.
All of the icons and illustrations were made by me and draw inspiration from a famous circular rabbit motif found across the world. Accompanying this circular rabbit motif is a riddle, “There are three hares and only three ears, and yet each hare has two.” All of the decisions made directly reference this longstanding tradition of magic and the occult.
This packaging system is ultimately for a young audience. Each package is filled with an item that, when put together, form a basic magic kit. The primary colors were chosen to draw attention to the product and appeal to children.
