These posters were created as a resulte of my experiences as a bike commuter. I often see people on bikes without helmets. Bike helmets are an instant precaution you can take to protect yourself. According to studies, bike helmets can reduce serious head injuries by 60%. In order to raise awareness I created a series of three posters that I plan on pasting near bike racks and near bike shops. Hopefully, through the vibrant risograph colors, I can catch the eye of potential bike helmet wearers.

I took inspiration from Soviet-era film posters. Specifically, from the Stenberg brothers. Their expressive use of distorted typography and beautiful collage film stills were a huge inspiration when creating these three posters.
